the Roman Catholic Pope was saying Mass in Ballyfermot when he asked for people with special needs to come forward to be prayed for.

Anto a local stepped forward to be prayed for & said, holy father, can you help me with my hearing'? the pope replied, 'certainly my son' & put his hands over his ears while everybody prayed for Anto. 'Has that helped'? said pope Benedict. 'I dont know' said Anto; 'my hearing is not until next Tuesday'!
